I love this place! Mostly picnic benches outside, though there are a few bar stools inside. Very casual, just right for Chesapeake Bay seafood. I had the flounder sandwich with fries plus a side of hushpuppies. Big sandwich with lots of flounder, I had to eat some of the flounder before I started on the sandwich because I couldn't get the bread to wrap around all the fish! Delicious, cooked just right! I will be back.
One of the best kept secret hole in the wall places I've ever been. Service was a little slow but the server was personable and knowledgeable, the food was delicious and the beer selection was on point.
Local "hole in the wall", but don't underestimate this place. One of the best local secrets, the food doesn't disappoint. I've been coming to this restaurant for 3 years, and coming the 270 miles away from Long island NY, it's always worth it. From first glance, it may just look like your local seafood store. But once you order the food, you'll fall in love. Now I've come to the restaurant for their signature 2 items, their crabs and oysters. Their crabs are the sweetest and neatest crabs you'll get. Steamed and then topped off with Old Bay seasoning, its delicious, and provided with a wooden hammer to get yourself to the best crab you'll get. Next the oysters. Oysters there are the largest and sweetest oysters you'll find. Served on the half shell raw, both the oysters and crab make an amazing combination. Overall, amazing place I rate 5/5, good job Wild Country!
NO PARKING AT ALL. I was looking at the place and the people that knew the area parked cut me off and sent others in before i could even see the store. Must be good food but no parking. Park somewhere else and walk there.
Wife was very happy with her soft shelled crab. My rockfish was good. Service is not fast but didn't worry us because the seafood is fresh! Everything clearly cooked after we ordered it. 5 or 6 outside picnic benches, plus 3-4 bar stools inside.
