It is pretty much the quintessential riverside seafood shack, in decor, at least. I had a soft shell crab sandwich with onion rings. The sandwich was good; the bread wasn't just slices of white bread; this is a good thing. The onion rings were cut very thick, which meant that there weren't very many of them, but they were good. There was cocktail sauce alongside the ketchup on the table, which was a nice touch. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there, and cam recommend it.
Need to be willing to toss bad crabs to get more orders. Just do it.
My Sisters and I came from PA, NJ, & DE to Annapolis for the seafood. My sisters and I went to the restaurant because it was recommended to us. We love seafood, any kind of seafood. We were there around 5:00 pm on Monday September 18, 2017, we ordered the crab bisque and it was so salty that we could not eat it. We wanted crabs but all they had was mediums. We ordered 6 to start because we were going to order crab cakes too. The crabs came out with Old Bay over top of them. They were not steamed in Old Bay, They were the size of small crabs, tasteless, waterlogged and less then a teaspoon of meat per crab. We were so disappointed that it ruined our trip. waitress keep bumping into my sister back.
Amazing views, ambiance in the evening. Terrific all you can eat crabs and dishes! Decent beer selection.
I’ve been to seafood joints around Maryland and this place by far has the best cream of crab soup. The service was up to par and Food was above par. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.
Decent value for section. Can be very busy. Totally worth the wait!
I love this little place. Nothing fancy, just a great place to eat all the crabs and seafood you can eat in one sitting. I love that it's a little get away if you're from Baltimore or D.C. -- it's a great spot for making new friends as well. It get very busy on the weekends. There is outside seating. Great for groups, family, friends to take in a view and have a good time over seafood eats.
