The highlight of the evening was the bar staff.
Apparently they were not properly staffed considering there was a bowl game in town.
I hate having to see staff work so hard to compensate for lack of planning by management.
Last Saturday 12/9/17 my son purposed to his lady love and the venue he chose to do this was Maggiano's in Annapolis M.D. We were seated and we ordered around 8:15, 8:30. It was getting close to 10:00 and we had yet to be served at which time we asked to speak with a manager. After about 10 more minutes a manager came over and while we expressed our concerns the food started to come to our table, COLD. I ask a waiter to make mine to go. While we were still speaking with the manager (an Indian guy) another manager (white guy) comes over, very short dismissive in his responses. I'm standing at the table the waiter brings me my food and sets it on the floor, not on the table or give it to me in my hand but ON THE FLOOR, says here's your food and walks away. I got the manager's attention and told him what his waiter just did, his response was y'all just need to leave and told someone to call 911! The only reason they get one star is because of a waitress who tried her best to help make this abysmal night salvageable. Thank you DALLAS!
Long wait for food and one entree was cold.
Absolutely delicious. We chose the special so we could take a second choice home. We tried every bruschetta there was and every bite was full of flavor. This was also my first time experiencing spumoni, I which was also delicious. Our waiter was wonderful and the entire place has a very cozy feel. We’ll definitely be returning soon.
Considering the issues, I would have loved to speak with a manager but that opportunity never presented itself.
I would go back just because I know the staff will bend over backwards trying insure a nice visit is had.
I like the food here and the decor. The bar area is nice and comfortable too - i like that it is a separate area unlike the one near me in Columbia. I feel like the value for the money is good and the BOGO menu is a great concept. I feel comfortable eating alone at these restaurants as well. The service has also been very good here whenever I have been. My only complaint is that I wish this chain would bring back the onion straws!!! They were awesome.
They were super apologetic and did everything they could to ensure we had a positive visit.
Hard to review. Food excellent/service poor/Manager caring & concerned. Your Mushroom Ravioli dish tasted creamy w/good bold, rich flavor. The Chocolate Mousse cake, there was a fancy name which I cannot remember currently was Outstanding!!!! Chocolate cake part was very moist, mousse was full flavor & melted in your mouth. The server, Jose well that's a different story altogether. When you go to "Little Italy" you anticipate ambiance, genuine & exceptional service. We felt like to Jose we were "A bother." He couldn't wait to get us gone, told us wrong info & was not listening to requests. Manager seemed concerned & genuinely offered we come visit again on them. I hope I can rate higher 2nd try. Again food exceptional!
