Don't come at 1:30 on a Saturday. It wasn't busy to begin with but we showed up with a larger than average group/order. One sandwich was left off when the rest were delivered. Just so happened to be my own. Turns out it was sent to another customer who then had to report that it was incorrect and missing cheese. His fixed order came out quickly but when mine was reported missing, it took at least twenty minutes and several reminders to get my sandwich. Also came to me without the marinara sauce, though it was requested on the receipt. My husband's Bobbie came without mayo (he didn't ask for it without) and they were out of meatballs, white sliced bread and only had Maryland crab soup when most wanted chicken noodle. I've only been to capriotti's twice and this experience has made me less inclined to go back. The chicken cheesesteak is dry without the sauce but I ate it because I waited so long and was starving.
Good subs here. I typically come in here around lunch time and they're usually fairly busy. My visits aren't that frequent though...maybe about once a month or so. The staff always seems to be different each time I go in but maybe that's just because of my infrequency.
Stopped in for lunch recently. They were already out of turkey and it was only noon???!!!! Staff seem unorganized. The restaurant is dirty, sticky floor, tables not wiped and sticky, front door glass disgusting. Won't be returning to that location.
Service, order accuracy, cleanliness has really gone down hill here. Usually love their cheesesteaks but tonight was a disappointment. 7pm(close 8pm) and you got the distinct feeling from staff they didn't want anymore customers tonight.
Sandwiches are usually good, but service is horrible. Went in on a Sunday at 12pm and waited at the register to order for 5 minutes. No one there, folks making sandwiches noticed us but said nothing. We left after 5 minutes to try our luck at Panera.
I'm a fan of most of their hot subs...the Capastrami, meatball, Italian sausage, or steak and cheese. The sizes are pretty good; the 9" (small) is just right for my lunchtime appetite. There's also a 12" (medium) and a 20" (large). Kinda wish they'd offer a 6" as well.
There is normally about a 5 minute wait to get the sub after placing the order...the sub is made fresh, right on the spot. I like that. I haven't tried ordering ahead via phone or online so I can't speak to that.
