*** CAUTION, BAIT & SWITCH*** Drove 2 hours to this dealership because of the listed internet price. Stayed in touch with a very helpful sales associate named Brandi (who I feel bad for that she is associated with this terribly run company). Arrived and they had the vehicle ready for me to look at and test drive. The vehicle had minor things that most customers would gig, but I didn't mind. The listed price was 6300 with low miles so naturally it was in our budget. Having a family the vehicle was the right size etc. After we sat down to make a deal, the price went from 6300 to 8400. I was like...what?!? I have purchased 10 cars since 2000 and NEVER bought any of them for more than the listed price, in fact I have had so much luck that I have NEVER bought a vehicle for anything less than at least 500 off of the listing price. I laughed at this common core math equation that was produced that stated the retail price, a never seen before "reconditioning fee" of 1000, it also charged 450 for taxes and 670 for tags etc. Being from out of state all's I needed was the temp tag, and title. I would pay to have it registered and inspected and title change in my own state for less than 200. My offer was firm and simple, 6000 for the car plus 500 for the taxes/tempt tags, title etc. This guy Bill comes out and goes back and forth with my wife (basically insulting her intelligence) til I finally stepped in and said simply, "I'm the one with the cash and paying for this, my offer is 6500 total, if we can't make the deal then we leave." We left...this is the old bait and switch method the scamming businesses do to get you to come to their business and then they hit you over the head with all of these extras. I have never seen something like this before nor have I ever allowed it to happen to me... I caution anyone with a brain that the up charges outside of 500 dollars for taxes/tags are bogus, don't fall for it. I intend on reporting this further to the BBB, being as by reading some of these reviews, I am not the first person this has happened to.
The first dealership, new or used that I actually recommend to others.

Any time you buy a used car you are always taking a chance on an issue. The greatest question is how is the issue handled by the dealer, especially when the buyer is a picky 20yr vet of the automotive world!
