Don't forget Maggie the wonder dog - she's a very friendly and well-behaved pup who will sit by the front door, eager to go chase some squirrels. Joe and Elly, thanks for helping make our first trip to Annapolis a memorable one! We will surely stay there again next time we are in Annapolis.
We stayed here for our anniversary. Elly was extremely warm and welcoming. She is very knowledgeable about things to do around town. The room was excellent. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! The kitchen was stocked with beverages and homemade cookies. All around a wonderful experience.
Elly and Joe are very nice and friendly people. They take pride in their establishment and it really shows. They focus on every last detail and keep the place immaculately clean and neat. We've stayed in other B&Bs where sometimes you feel like you're intruding on someone's home. Quite the opposite at Chez Amis. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and very comfortable. Elly is also an amazing cook! The breakfasts she made were tasty, healthy and very filling. We stayed in the Stateroom which is the biggest room in the B&B. It includes a bathroom, a king size bed which was comfortable, plenty of room for your stuff and a flat screen tv. The bedding was clean, comfy and very tasteful (Ralph Lauren Stars and Stripes theme). Elly was also nice enough to turn down our bed at night.
Cute rooms. Great breakfast. Wonderful hosts. Within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops downtown.
My wife and I stayed here this past weekend while visiting Annapolis for the first time. I booked this place after finding it through Google - reviews seemed unanimously positive so figured it would be good but sometimes with B&B's you just never know. Well, our experience was as good if not better than the reviews.
Great location, immaculate delicious and expansive breakfast. We had a wonderful get away this was the perfect nest.
It's the best - highly recommend if visiting Annapolis.
When we booked the reservation, the location seemed good. After walking around Annapolis for 3 days, we can confirm that this is the best situated B&B in the city. It is literally one block from the downtown dock where many of the restaurants are located and one block from the capitol building. But it's tucked into a quiet residential street where car traffic is infrequent at best (most people walk in downtown Annapolis), so you'll be able to sleep easy when back in your room.
