Update: The Manager of the hotel called and will be issuing a credit back to the credit card we used. He also was very apologetic and explained that the hotel was acquired in May 2017 and that renovations are under way. But again, I urge anyone to inspect their room before checking in.
I would not give this hotel any stars, but I would not be able to post my review without one. The "Deluxe" room I was given had dead bugs on the window sill and rusted bath fixtures as well as many other safety and cleanliness issues.
Although the hotel is probably one of the older hotels in Annapolis...It still provided a comfortable and affordable place to stay. I found the soap,shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the tub/shower along with the soap & moisturizer dispenser in the separate sink area were convenient and helped keep the ares neat & clean. The dispensers were a surprise & welcome up-date.

Nothing special, just the room. More like a motel and a hotel this Best Western. A bit noisy with all the traffic also. But it served its purpose and customer service was very nice.
1. A recent stay at a Best Western Plus in Bluffton, SC and
I HIGHLY recommend that before you unpack the car, that you do a thorough examination of the room. Literally lay on the beds, check the security of the Main Door and (if your room has one) the overall condition of the adjoining door. Next time I stay at a Best Western (and I don't know if I ever will again) I will mention to the reservation person that: "If the room does not meet my safety and cleanliness standards and I decide not to stay at the hotel, I expect not to be charged a cancellation fee or any kind of penalty." In fact, I'll just add that to any hotel when making future reservations.
We cancelled our second night and am currently requesting a refund.
It's okay. To begin, upon checking the women at the front desk was very unclear, seemed very busy, understaffed, and all around not great customer service. The rooms are decent, everything that you need. But a bit out dated and relatively "grimy." The breakfast was good along with the house keeping staff. You get what you pay, I guess! If its just you and your long time partner on a long trip, its worth saving the extra cash...
Friendly staff, but rooms left a lot to be desired. Heavy noise from the nearby highway, and even from people outside. Odd musty smell to the room. Desk but no desk chair. Continental breakfast was fine, and location was convenient to walk to many dining and shopping establishments. Sadly I arrived during a boat show, so prices were more than twice the usual rate. I should have checked out after the weekend, as my continued rate for 4 days stayed that high.
