Renovation is definitely an improvement, and some of the sports clothing sales are very good. However, this Modell's often doesn't have basic sporting items I'm looking for, and despite there being lots of employees everywhere, finding assistance can be a pain as you have to chase them down. Once you do catch one, they rarely know what they carry or don't carry. Checking-out, in my experience, is mayhem and un-apologetically slow.

They always have great deals around the holidays and always have good local sports teams shirts, hats and jerseys. Lots of name brand stuff like Nike and Under Armor. Very clean and neat store too.
Hadnt been here in a while but like the Improved layout they have now. Never seems to be very crowded. Good selection. Help us mostly behind the counter... you have to seek them out.
They carry a wicked huge amount of clothing and other sports accessories, but don't go here to ask questions about shoes. I wanted to know if they carried any running shoes with zero drop or low drop (4-ish mm). The guy stationed in shoes knew nothing about what it meant and quickly went to get a manager. The manager knew nothing about shoes, too. What they seem to know is that the have a size and you tie them when you put them on. The do not know about drop, heel stability, the difference between a neutral, pronated, and suppinated stride, or the type of shoe you would use for solving the above. Overall, get your clothes hear. Get your shoes elsewhere.
