Amazon destroyed Wholefoods within weeks. Quality, cleanliness, selection way down. Some of the specialty items were gone, some staff uniforms were messy and lost is the calm orderliness of an extremely well run place. I love Wholefoods and hope this weekend was a fluke or bad dream. I am Ok paying more for high quality, healthy food with unique options -- $7 for a carton of local pasture eggs. Why does everything in America have to be cheap and uniform. If I wanted cheaper prices, I'd go to Safeway or Shoppers. Nothing against them at all. But, I don't just want isles of the same commercial unhealthier processed packaged foods. Finally, the eating spaces were left very messy by some of the new shoppers checking out the lower prices. And too many lose kids running around like it's a trip to Disney land. How sad.
My go to grocery store for all of my organic shopping. Such a wonderful selection of produce, meats, and organic staples.
Love Whole Foods generally. Have shopped at many WF stores up and down both coasts, dating back to well before the Fresh Fields acquisition. But the Annapolis MD WF is below average. Maybe management or secret shoppers who are familiar with great newer WFs like 600 H Street NE in DC could shop there to notice silly glitches like no closures for bulk grain paper bags, inadequate supply of fresh fish. Hope new management has seen the best and brings it out here!
Everything you could possibly want for healthy eating can be found here. The bakery is to die for. Don't forget to visit the salad bar and hot buffet bar while you are visiting. You won't be disappointed shopping here.

During this busy holiday season and last minute shoppers (okay that might be me) two people were very impressive, friendly and accommodating. Thank you and thank you again.
