Beautiful dirt trails maintained by the local mountain bikers. 7 miles of loops and about 12 more to be built in Spring 2018. Great trails for riding or hiking. Some hills but nothing very technical
Great roller coaster like flow trail with lots of quick, steep climbs and switchbacks to keep things interesting. Of note- Not a lot of tough rock gardens or root sections, but I would not say this is the best place for someone to spend their first day on a mountain bike. It is definitely somewhere to improve your intermediate skills, but if you're brand new to mtn biking, you might find the switchbacks, steep sections and overall speed of the trail intimidating. That being said, it's a great place to go and hit some good speed and get a work out in close to Annapolis.
Great trails for mountain bikers, hikers, runners, or casual strollers 10 minutes from downtown Annapolis. There are now a little over 7 miles of well-maintained single track trails with hopefully more coming in 2017-18. The new "P" signs at every trail intersection point the closest way back to the parking lot. Benches at some nice overlooks give you a place to sit and rest or just chill. The only negative is the parking situation but if the lot is full there is plenty of safe parking along Hawkins Road. Enjoy!
A well cared for trail, not the most challenging but a great place for ride out
Easy trail to navigate although not marked. Luckily there are signs back to the parking lot. Lots of up and down but not mountainous. I’m not a cyclist & went during the week & it was empty. Lots of switchbacks & so be aware going around curves. Took me about 1 1/2 hours to do the loop.
