I went into Rocco's to tell them about the Chicken Cheese Steak that I bought yesterday, I talked to a elderly gentleman, who I am assuming was the owner as he told me that he was there for 43 years and did not care about my one bad review. I told him to check his site as he had more than one bad review. He lost my business but I but I guess he does not care.
Only did was say they were sorry and offer no compensation. I had to request them to do something. Never again. Normally I am a happy camper when it comes to their pizza. Because of them, I no longer purchase my pizza from the other companies close too my home. To be disappointed in my purchase from a company that I praise and literally grew up on really aches my soul.
There's a reason it's the best pizza place in Annapolis. Homemade crust, perfectly made pizza. They're always happy to help. Make sure you call ahead on Fridays and Saturdays around dinnertime, because they get pretty busy.
Just had a Chicken Cheese steak for lunch, chicken was a little dry and chewy but the worse part of the sub was that the lettuce was brown and old. I feel that a restaurant should never give their customer old greens with their food. To be fair, their pizza is very good but I was not happy with my lunch today.
I have ordered from them many times and has never had a problem until today. I ordered a pizza @7:09pm on 10/7/17. My pizza did not arrive until 8:49pm. I was told that they were very busy because of the Navy football game and the Boat show. My feelings on that was you should have mention that when I first call and it may have given me another option. That did not happen. When I called back I was told it would be at my home in 7 minutes. That did not happen, it came 40 min after I called. I called back to cancel my order then a knock came to the door. It was my pizza. I'm on the phone with them asking why they did not tell me about the delay because I was trying to feed my 3 yr old grandson before it was time for him to go to bed. They understood how frustrated I was. The guy at the door ashored me that my pizza was still hot. Well it was hot, but not the way I'm use to getting my pizza. Great pizza for a great price. The staff is always friendly plus the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Definitely reminds me of New York with every bite.
I've loved Rocco's since I was a kid, It all depends though on who's making your pizza. They use one size dough so the larger you go, the thinner you get. Very friendly staff.
