This TJ Maxx is junky and disorganized. Not really impressed with the selections. I wont be returning to this store!
I have been shopping at this TJ Maxx for over 10 years. I'm a TJX Rewards member. I've never had a bad experience, and I don't expect the VIP treatment when I visit. However, I don't expect substandard service either simply because it's a "discount" shopping store. Today, I was treated as though I were invisible by a cashier. I'd waited on a long line to ring up my purchases. When I finally got up to the register, she began ringing up my purchases only to stop mid-way to service another customer who wanted to put something on hold. I, and other customers, watched incredulously as she did this. I even joked that I must be being punk'd and fully expected Ashton Kutcher to come out with a camera crew. I finally had to ask if she could please finish working with me before helping another customer. I was so annoyed that I went to speak to the manager to give her my feedback. This is where it gets worse--I spoke with Ms. Frye, who basically excused it as a "mistake" and dismissed me with a curt "thank you". At the very least, I expected some sort of apology. Instead, I was treated as though I were the one who committed the offense. Buyer beware in this TJ Maxx store, and not necessarily for the merchandise, but for the service.
small store, not many option I think all their stuff are left over from other big stores, rather go to Marshall next to Annapolis mall
I was at the jewelry section and I was distracted as I had a 2 year old with me. I realized my phone was missing when I was on my way home and about to call when I didn't have it in my purse. I called my phone many twice and the ladies Milka answered. It was her and Millie that were there and got my phone. I am super glad that it was safe as Milka said it was in good hands. Earlier that day I was with them and they were helping me look for Mother's Day presents for my family. They were very nice and helpful as they were not pushy whatsoever but still made sure I wasn't neglected. Just a perfect balance. This TJMaxx has the best selection of things. I would drive over an hour to come here.
