I believe that I was discriminated against because I am an African American male. Rabia Khaliq appeared to be a middle eastern female and her supervisor, Ashley Duval, was a caucasian female.
I need to deposit a large number of bills - I work at a restaurant and don't feel safe depositing money at night. I'm here on my day off, expecting to deposit my money and leave. There was no line inside, which is where I prefer to go when handling that much cash. The woman at the counter insisted that I go to the ATM. When I explained I'd rather do it at the counter due to the large sum, she proceeded to tell me she could show me how to use the ATM... There was a line inside so I pulled around to the drive through. I've been stuck behind the truck that collects the money for 10 minutes. So irritated.
Two stars because First Lady at the teller was rude had no decent customer service nor wanted to help me. Ok. Then the second lady came and was super sweet and helped me because I'm a mess. Thank you second lady I wish more people were like you.
Not discreet in the least when it came to them amount of money I was handling. Even other customers in the lobby were appauled by the lobby receptionist asking me out loud the amount of the check I was cashing and the teller also announcing. Very upsetting. No one there besides the teller should have known that i was carrying that amount around.
I will never be back.
I recommend that Bank of America send their tellers and supervisors through diversity training.
I walked in this branch and was discriminated against by Rabia Khaliq. I requested a cash advance for an odd amount I could not withdraw from the ATM machine. After requesting cash advances from this branch for 4 weeks with only a state issued Driver's License, all of a sudden Rabia says "My boss says that we can no longer do cash advances with a DL, you must present a card from another financial institution." I told her she didn't need the additional card and she was only doing it to be difficult. I provided the card, and she presented it to her supervisor, Ashley Duval. Ashley was talking to a gentleman when Rabia walked over to ask her if she needed my card from another bank. Ashley had a confused look on her face and said "we only need a DL or state issued ID to make the cash advance." Rabia walks back to the window and says "I do apologize, sir. We only need your drivers license to process this transaction." She quickly processed the transaction in a hurry to get me away from the window. I then asked her to provide the first and last name of herself and her supervisor Ashley. She wrote both first names in print but illegibly scribbled the last names in cursive. I asked her to confirm the spelling of both names and I re-wrote them myself.
