My first grader and my fifth grader love this school. The classes are small, so they have a lot of one-on-one time with their teachers. The teachers are able to taylor their lessons to the individual needs of the child, whether advanced or in need of additional help. The environment is caring, nuturing, safe, confidence-building -- much like home. Students at Aleph Bet are like family to each other, no matter their religion. (My older daughter doesn't even know who is Jewish and who is not!) The cirruculum includes Singapore Math and a second language beginning in kindergarten. Children are taught about giving back to the community, taking care of the environment, respecting each other and other cultures. I find the teachers to be very receptive to my concerns and easy to get in touch with by e-mail, phone, or at drop-off in the morning.
