Awesome friendly bike shop, they won't quit until you are completely satisfied. Best shop in the area
Great LBS. I met Brian and Micah at the shop. These guys know bikes. I'll be bringing my Specialized bike for service to this shop.
I was in town visiting relatives and Trailwerks hooked me up with a sweet loaner for the week. I ended up talking to/working with 3 different people from start to finish and every one of them was great.
The shop seems nice and has lots of great reviews but, in my opinion, they come form riding buddies of the owner. My experience was extremely negative as I needed a Monarch rebuild and while dropping it off shared what I read about lowering IFP pressure for more plush feel. The owner completely rebutted the idea talking about all "stupid people" writing online, and left we left it there. After I put the rebuild shock on the bike and noticed that the lockout does not work - he said 'you told me to leave the IFP low and this is why you don't have a lockout'?*&^%. I was disgusted and I am in the process of taking him to the small claims court and complaining to the BBB. So we are all stupid here for trying to stretch our $ by not spending $80 on a tubeless setup on a tubeless-ready rim (other LBS) by investing 10 minutes in research and another 10 min to do the work.... So if we can find awesome bike/part deals online and we can learn how to do most work ourselves - we are understandably stupid for Mike. Not this time buddy:))
