I went to this Annapolis steakhouse one evening for my birthday. The food was delicious and was served in a timely manner and I had a good time for the most part. I did however have a problem with some of the remarks our chef made, I understand that the chef is supposed to lighten the mood but some of his remarks seemed a bit personal and downright inappropriate, like when he mocked my appearance and said I looked like Justin Bieber...it was completely uncalled for. The chef also made sexual implications about me and MY COUSIN which made us both feel extremely uncomfortable. I've been to this steakhouse almost every year for my birthday and I do not wish to stop coming in the future because of one person but I believe the chefs should have a cap on some of the things they say.
Food was okay, but I've had better sushi elsewhere. Also felt like it was overpriced for the quality of food. I won't be going back.

Annapolis Sakura was the first and original Japanese Steakhouses in Annapolis, all other Japanese Steakhouse in Annapolis and surrounding areas are copycats and are horrible. Was celebrating my grandsons 9th birthday and loved our chef. He was very entertaining.My only complaint was asking for my steak to be cooked medium and it was overcooked. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.
