Open floor dining with fast food ordering. Generous portions.
A bit busy, glad to see if fully used though. Got lunch from a stand called yellow- something (i think). Service can be a bit slow/crazy/hectic, but on par with any other city market place you would go to. Was about a 10-15 minute wait for my food. The crab cake was good. It wasnt a jumbo lump crabcake, but it had lots of crab in it, not breading/filler and no shell. A bit pricy for a small cake though. Upgrade the $12 sandwich to a $15 platter (still a sandwich) savings on fries and soda. Seating inside and outside. Listening to street performers playing on the piano outside was a nice way to enjoy lunch after a historic walking tour. My sister got a cheese pizza from the same stand and said it was good and filling. Came with free toppings, but i didnt see what topping options they had listed anywhere. Other stands had gelato, fried chicken, deli sandwiches, cheeseburgers (with topping bar - my mom enjoyed it, thick patty), deli sandwiches, novelty candy, oysters, smoothies and create your own omelette.
A really great concept in food. Like the food court in a mall right on the dock.
Parking kinda sucks. It's crowded, there aren't a lot of spaces and you can only pay for 30 minutes at a time. The food was fine, it's nothing spectacular or out of this world. We were hungry and pressed for time, and we came across the market place shopping center. Service was friendly, fairly quick. The market itself is kinda dingy and a little bit run down. It could stand to do with a really thorough cleaning and some love. I've been in worse, of course. There's water across the street. We took the bread that came with our eggs and tore it into bits and fed it to the ducks (even though it's not the best thing for them :( ) I didn't get any pictures of the market, but have a picture of a cute ass duck with a messed up bill. All in all, I'd eat here again if I could find parking nearby.
really nice, let me take my bike in during the colder months, fill up water bottles, offered me free coffee with my chicken sandwich(?)
