Outlet in daughter's bedroom started smoking. Pulled the outlet out and it was melted on the side. Called PowerMeans because a friend recommended them. They sent an electrician out right away. He replaced the outlet and noticed that we had aluminum wiring. After looking at our panel, he gave us a number of recommendations to help prevent something like this from happening again. We went with his recommendation to replace our breakers with new up to code arc fault breakers that would trip in situations like this.
KC and the PowerMeans guys did a fabulous job and got my whole house wired up from head to toe. Couldn't have asked for a better job and looking to moving into our new home and enjoying our power means.
